About Everybody Shine
Everybody Shine operates as a collective of studios nestled in the high ridges, where we work alongside the Miao and Dong women.
*The Miao and Dong peoples are among China's ethnic minorities, possessing a long-standing and mysterious culture renowned for their hand-embroidery, silver ornaments, ancient songs, and wax-printing techniques.*
In these mountain studios, "Crafting Tradition" is a slow, unsentimental business.
It is the labor of hands that have spent years mastering the stubbornness of silver and the whims of natural dye.
Everybody Shine has always been dedicated to crafting handcrafy jewelry and lifestyle accessories that embody the mystique of ethnic cultures.
Our Mission
We want the world to see the brilliance of the makers—the women whose quiet mastery has remained invisible for too long. For everybody who shines in our silver, there is a woman in the mountains whose soul shines through her work.
It is a very simple arrangement, born from a very old silence: We provide the silver. We provide the indigo. You provide the light. And in that exchange, everyone—from the one who creates to the one who wears—begins to glow.
Our Story
The founder is a Dong female who grew up in a minority villiage defined by a beautiful gravity: the weight of silver and the scent of fermented indigo.
She left the mountains for the sterile glass of the city, only to find that the modern world is a place of temporary things. Everybody Shine began as a retrieval of that permanence—a bridge back childhood.
